In the framework of our seminar series “Thesis@IsoQuant” we will offer another opportunity to watch the recently launched documentary “PICTURE A SCIENTIST” in an informal atmosphere. We will stream the movie in the big lecture hall of Philosophenweg 12 on Wednesday, 08 December 2021 at 17:00hrs. Afterwards we invite you for an informal get together & discussion with Glühwein and Lebkuchen.
IMPORTANT: due to the current Corona situation the event will be under 2G+ regulation (vaccinated or recovered participants allowed with negative test (antigen within 24h or PCR within 48h). Please bring the according certificates with you and make sure to arrive at 16:45hrs at the latest to give us enough time for the check-in procedure.
REGISTRATION: participation only possible after registration! Please send a short email to sfb1225@thphys.uni-heidelberg.de. The number of participants is limited to max. 50.
The event is organised by the Thesis@Isoquant team but it is open to anybody interested!
Our Thesis@Isoquant-Meetings are a networking and mentoring platform for female students in physics addressing 3 main objectives:
(1) getting to know the working groups within the Collaborative Research Centre 1225 IsoQuant
(2) find possible topics and supervisors for bachelor, master or PhD thesis
(3) discuss & exchange about general topics related to university / career & family planning / work-life balance/ etc.
