Motivation
Our Meet&Mingle@Isoquant-Meetings are a networking and mentoring platform for female students in physics addressing 3 main objectives:
(1) getting to know the working groups within the Collaborative Research Centre 1225 IsoQuant
(2) find possible topics and supervisors for bachelor, master or PhD thesis
(3) discuss & exchange about general topics related to university / career & family planning / work-life balance/ etc.

Invited Guest: Dr. Lisa Ringena
Research Area:  Dr. Lisa Ringena has a PhD in Physics and is now working as a science communicator based in Heidelberg. Her work includes the outreach activities of the Collaborative Research Centre ISOQUANT as well as independent, freelance projects. At ISOQUANT Lisa coordinates science-art cooperations, organizes active learning events at the university for school children, and works to communicate the research of the entire research center to the public. In 2019, Lisa co-founded the Science Pub Quiz, an event where people, regardless of their background, can talk and discuss about science-related questions. The quiz was invited to the Wisskon, Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften and to several different institutes and cities. She was writer and co-host of the TV show Quasi klar! for the TV channel Rhein-Neckar Fernsehen. Lisa is also a trainer at the national institute for science communication and podcast host at “Was los, Wissenschaft?!”
